Emre Yurtbay is an IT service provider and AI consultant from Recklinghausen, Germany, and runs Yurtbay.dev: AI consulting, custom .NET software, web development, hosting and IT support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Ruhr area — GDPR-compliant and from a single source.
Who I am
I have been working in IT for more than ten years, focused on the Microsoft stack: .NET and C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft 365 and Azure — complemented by web development, Docker and self-hosted open-source services. Yurtbay.dev is deliberately a one-person business: you talk directly to the person who knows, builds and maintains your systems — no ticket queue, no rotating faces.
What I use and operate day to day, I write up on the blog — from Docker and reverse-proxy setups to Microsoft 365, .NET and self-hosted AI models. This website itself runs on self-managed infrastructure; its web analytics are self-hosted and cookie-free.

- Firm quotes instead of hourly-rate surprises: I analyse your requirements, estimate the effort and state the price transparently before we start.
- GDPR from day one: Secure hosting, encrypted data transfer, data processing agreements and clean documentation are standard — for AI projects additionally EU hosting, Azure OpenAI or on-premise operation, depending on your data.
- Reliably reachable: Response within 24 hours (Mon–Fri) — remote or on site in Recklinghausen, Herten, Marl and across the Recklinghausen district.
