Emre Yurtbay, IT Service Provider & AI Consultant from Recklinghausen

I'm Emre Yurtbay, an IT service provider and AI consultant from Recklinghausen, Germany. With Yurtbay IT, I support small and medium-sized businesses in the Ruhr area. My focus is IT consulting, including AI consulting, as well as custom software and websites with hosting and IT support.

What I bring

I have been working in IT for more than 15 years, mainly with Microsoft technologies: custom software with .NET and C#, databases with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft 365 and Azure. On top of that come web development and running self-hosted services.

Much of my free time revolves around AI as well: I experiment with AI models that run locally on my own hardware and test which tasks they can take on as AI agents that complete work steps on their own.

Why I deliberately work alone

Even with simple web shops and manageable infrastructure tasks, the problem was always the same: too many contacts. Sometimes you were referred to someone who then couldn't be reached directly. Sometimes different employees gave different answers. That's why I want to be your one contact for every question: you get one clear answer instead of contradictory information.

How I work with you

• Direct, without handoffs: You discuss your project with me. I advise you, implement the solution myself and look after it afterwards.
• Understand first, then recommend: At the start, I clarify your requirements and goals. You then receive a clear proposal for the implementation. For AI projects, we check together which task the AI should solve and whether it is worth it, for example when introducing Microsoft Copilot or automating document processing. • Fixed quotes for projects: Based on your requirements, I estimate the effort and give you a fixed quote before we start.
• Data protection from the start: Encrypted data transfer, data processing agreements and clean documentation are part of my work. For AI applications, I choose the operating environment based on the data being processed, for example a data centre in the EU or your own servers.
• Honest recommendations: You get the solution that fits your task, not the most expensive one. If something isn't worth it for you, I'll tell you openly.

I support you remotely or on site in Recklinghausen, Herten, Marl and throughout the Recklinghausen district.

What if I'm not available?

I announce planned absences such as holidays in good time and, if needed, give you an emergency contact or emergency number. If you can't reach me at short notice, contact support at support.yurtbay.dev: your request is logged as a ticket with the appropriate priority and forwarded to me.
